Guided by James 2:17, “So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead,” our Catholic charity shone with selfless devotion on Saturday, August 2, 2025, the first Saturday of the month. Under bright, clear skies, a remarkable group of women volunteers took the lead, their hearts aflame with compassion as they delivered vital groceries to families in need throughout our community. With vans brimming with fresh produce, canned goods, and household essentials, these dedicated women embarked on a mission of care, their hands and spirits united in service. Each delivery was more than food—it was a beacon of hope, a reminder to struggling families that they are seen, cherished, and supported, their burdens eased by the kindness of others.

This August event lived out the call of Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” The women of our charity, with tireless dedication, poured out their energy and love, visiting homes from dawn to dusk. From single mothers stretching tight budgets to elderly neighbors needing support, they met each family with warmth, offering not just groceries but also genuine smiles and words of encouragement. Their presence turned simple deliveries into moments of connection, fostering dignity and hope. By the end of the day, dozens of households had been touched by their generosity, a powerful testament to faith in action and the profound impact of women leading with servant hearts to uplift our community.
