Despite the severe weather and storms that hit in early October 2024, the organization remained steadfast in delivering food to those in need, ensuring that no one went without essential supplies during this critical time. The team demonstrated incredible resilience, overcoming transportation challenges and difficult conditions to fulfill their mission of service. In this time of trial, the words from Matthew 25:35 ring true: “For I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink.” This spirit of compassion was further strengthened by the addition of new members, like Mr. Ricardo, who joined the organization with a heart full of service and commitment. His involvement, along with others, has brought renewed energy to the mission, allowing the team to continue providing for the community, even in the face of adversity.

Second Delivery in the same month!
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP), with the devoted support of Janet, Isabel, Maite, Marqueza and other members, continues to reflect the true essence of Christian charity, working tirelessly to deliver much-needed food to those in the community. Their dedication is deeply inspiring as they prepare for the second food delivery, driven by a profound sense of love and service to their neighbors. This mission goes beyond simply providing food; it’s about following the word of our Lord Jesus Christ, who reminds us in Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” In the face of obstacles, these individuals come together not for praise or recognition, but because they believe that through their selfless acts, they are serving Christ himself. Their work is a beautiful testament to how God’s love flows through acts of kindness and generosity, touching the lives of those who give and those who receive. Every action is true examples of faith in action, spreading hope, compassion, and the light of Christ to every corner of the community they serve.
