No one should go hungry when a community chooses to share.

On a recent Saturday morning, volunteers from the Saint Vincent de Paul Society gathered to hand out food to families and individuals in need. Neighbors lined up, boxes were packed and handed over with a smile, and many left with groceries for the week ahead. It was a simple morning, but one that reminded us of the words of Christ: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat” (Matthew 25:35).

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Saint Boniface Church, which opened its parking lot so we could set up and serve safely and comfortably. We are deeply grateful for their welcome and their support. As Scripture says, “God loveth a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7), and we saw that cheerfulness on every face, from the volunteers to the families we served.
